One of my parents’ arguments for not liking that I’m bisexual is that they are ‘scared’ of what I might have to endure from other people. What others might say or think of me.
Funny thing is though, I get so many surprised comments and sometimes even crap when I tell people that I’m a protestant, and a believing one.
I never got a single rude comment (to my face at least) when I identified as a lesbian and that is usually more provoking than bisexual.
Yet people keep saying the strangest things when they find out that I work for the church where I live.
What does this say about Sweden/Stockholm, ey? ;) Haha.
Sweden is rapidly becoming so ‘open’ about everything that people who believe in things that can seem (or have been) narrow minded now get trash talked instead.
Hm.

(I still identify myself as a pansexual these days but I use bisexual outside the internet/my close friends)
